Little Time Off
As you all probably noticed I took a little time off from The In-Between. Since mid-October, life has become very busy, and I needed to step away. This brief time off has given me a fresh perspective and strong creative inspiration to jump back in right where we left off.
In short, I was gone for a minute but I’m back now. I’m pleased to announce The In-Between Newsletter/Podcast is back! This article breaks down what we do here at The In-Between and welcomes all newcomers to the group, as well as illustrates our goals for the new year.
The support I have received for this passion project of mine has been incredible and we have officially crossed over a threshold I did not think we would ever hit: We have reached over 400 subscribers!
I really appreciate the support from this community, and I am glad everyone has enjoyed the content over the past year. With that said, let us dive into what The In-Between is all about for the new faces reading this.
The Topics We Missed
Growing up I always felt like there were three pillars of life that were not discussed enough with young adults. Career, life, and finances. I felt that the most important skills within these three categories were missed in our school systems, households, television shows, etc. For example, I learned all about the stock market and investing through YouTube and my own curiosity. I am still perplexed why we did not have the opportunity to learn about such basic life skills in school, and why such necessary topics as these fell in between the cracks of geometry and the laws of physics.
Thus, The In-Between Newsletter is born.
If you are new to The In-Between, please understand, I do not have infinite knowledge about any of the topics I write about. What I do have, though, is the same feelings and curiosities that you have about creating the life you want. I relate to you. I am you. I am just getting started in my career, I am navigating everything I write about in my own personal life right alongside you. This is a community of young adults motivated to make the most out of the opportunities put in front of them, make smart choices, and learn from the not-so-smart choices. I want to start this crucial conversation among young people, get the ball rolling. This is a place for you to act on your motivation and learn what you need to know about managing your finances, developing your career, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
This is The In-Between. A community of likeminded people, who are eager to learn and eager and willing to share their ideas on how these article topics have helped their lives.

Is This My Job?
Alright, now that we have fully convinced you of how awesome The In-Between is, let me introduce myself. A little bit about the author, if you will.
I am frequently asked the question, “Is this your full-time job?” While I am flattered by this question, no, this is not my full-time job. This is purely a passion project I work on during my personal time because I enjoy doing it.
I work full time as an Account Coordinator at one of the fastest growing commerce agencies in Seattle called The Stable. Feel free to check it out below to learn more about the company! Shoutout to all my coworkers who are subscribed to The In-Between!

Moving forward, a personal goal for 2022 is that I want to put a stronger emphasis on growing our social media accounts. Our social media accounts are updated frequently with new articles, helpful graphics, and maybe even some fun Reels if I am really feeling creative. The accounts are designed to keep everyone up to date on what is to come, extra resources on the topics article topics, and of course it is a great way to share the newsletter/podcast with your friends and family!

Now that 2021 is behind us, it is time to look ahead. Look ahead towards a better future that includes all of us learning a little more about our careers, taking control of our finances, and striving for better lives. We’re back, baby!
